ZK Celltest is pleased to announce the release of the latest firmware version, v9.8. ZK customers can download this new firmware at: http://www.zk.com/support/release_info_new.html. ZK Celltest has a policy of offering updates to all users free for the life of the product. In addition to the firmware posted on the website, ZK has also updated the list of supported phones with detailed release notes. The v9.8 updated firmware includes many new supported phones, enhancements, and available features.

Two new features that will be supported with this new firmware are:

1. Remote Data-link (Log File Upload)
2. Real-time Mapping Output (RTM)

The Remote Data-link feature can be used to send your log files from your compact flash card to a central server using one of the data phones connected from the SAM. This will allow you to easily share your log files with other departments while you are in the field and quickly identify potential network problems. The Real-time Output feature is compatible with the EZ-2-Map and will allow you to plot your drive route on a PC during your testing.
