| Enhancement |
The only difference between 7.0E and 7.0F is now the DXMe
will log latitude and longitude with 6-digits of precision after the decimal
point (1 millionth of a degree -- approximately 0.11 meters). In all previous firmware releases only
4-digits of precision were logged (approximately 11 meters). |
| Enhancement |
The only difference between 7.0E and 7.0D is a change to
the way the head-unit backlight operates at the lowest settings. In 7.0E the lowest backlight level of the
LCD display has been adjusted to be less bright. Also one step is added with the LCD backlight at the lowest
setting, but the keypad backlights off.
These changes should help with distracting excessive brightness at
night. |

(TDMA/Analog) Fixed a problem where if a TDMA phone
switched to analog bogus RSSI and Neighbor RSSI would display on the Phone

and the DCC on the Phone Summary screen. |
| bugfix |
Fixed a bug where the least recent log file was not being
deleted when creating compact flash file system space and instead more recent
data might be deleted. |
| Enhancement |
For user interface consistency, now call-up and call-down
status indication (colors of text and background) is consistent on
Phone-Summary and CDMA/DAMPS/GSM-Summary screens. |
| Enhancement |
Improved GPS Satellite icon -- now an "S" inside
a circle. (S for Satellites). |
| bugfix |
All display messages now properly refer to the ESC key as
"ESC" (and not "BREAK"). |
| Enhancement |
Removed unecessary option "Collect GPS data"
configuration menu option. GPS will
always be enabled for units with the GPS option. Note: set "Minutes to Wait For GPS Fix" to 0 for
similar functionality to the old "Collect GPS Data: NO" option. |
